Ergendo Trade and Industry is a privately owned company Established Based on Ethiopian Commercial Law, which is engaged in producing different types of product using EVA. Surprisingly, Ergendo is the first company to produce EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) shoe and sole in Ethiopia.

The name Ergendo is a well-known brand since its establishment in 2003(GC), and it is become a given name for numerous plastic shoes all over Ethiopia. The name Ergendo is just a family name of the owners. In Addition, It has an Italian meaning, called RISING. As shown on our logo, it contains an expandable puzzle, denoting the aim to expand and enlarge the business beyond situations; so that our company will rise and rise in the sector.

During its Establishment in 2003 G.C, Ergendo produced PVC and EVA Shoe and Sole only. But today, we produce Different Type of Products for all age group Like a high quality and durable Slippers, Insole and Outsoles, Leather Shoe Accessories, Foot Pad and Related Products for Prosthetic Society, EVA Compound, EVA Sheet, Yoga/Exercise Mat in different size (either in customized form or not), Rollable Slipping Mat for Military and Hikers/Tourists, Children’s play Mat, Heavy Duty Gym Mat, Floor Mat for Indoor and Outdoor Residential Gyms, Morocco Mat, Alphanumeric Puzzle, Self Inflating Ball, Mouse Pad, Sitting Cushion and other different types of Products. All these products are produced using State-of-The-Art machineries.

It is known that Ergendo is a socially responsible company. Our company creates an employment opportunity for more than 150 employees. In addition, we are exclusively supplying a Sheet for companies like Prosthetic Orthotic Center (POC) which produce a Prosthetic material for Disabled society.  Furthermore, Ergendo’s production process is an ECO-FRIENDLY production process, which makes the level of wastage to ZERO; so that there is no environmental pollution and carbon emission.
